Service for Aubrey L. Faught will be 2:00pm, Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel; burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday, May 29, from 1pm--8pm, with family receiving visitors from 6pm--8pm. Aubrey passed away at his home on Thursday, May 25, 2017. He was 87.

Born August 22, 1929, in Lamar, Oklahoma to Hubert R. and Melva (Gann) Faught, Aubrey graduated high school from Tiawah with the class of 1947. He moved with his parents to Salem, Oregon, but after a few months he returned to Oklahoma. On November 8, 1947 Aubrey married Lois A. Tanner and the couple made their home in Rogers County, where they raised their two sons.

Aubrey spent most of his working career in the construction industry, which took him many different places, Oregon, Wyoming, Kansas and Arkansas. He was a brick mason by trade and spent many years as a masonry contractor prior to working 23 years for Flintco Construction as foreman and project supervisor. He retired in 1992.

A hardworking individual, Aubrey took great care of his family and provided well for them. He served the Lord since 1951, when he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends,

Those family members that survive include his wife of over 69 years, Lois of the home; his son Garry Faught and wife Carol of Broken Arrow; his grandchildren Garry, Darrin, Jeremy and Wade Faught all of Claremore, Steve Faught and wife Amy of Nashville and Chrissy Faught and husband Derrick of Garner, Iowa; great grandchildren Steven, Bailee Mae, Carson, Jett Aubrey, Ethan, Jacob, Tristan, Lillie, Coco and Elijah; his sister Wilma McHone and husband Don of Ninilchik, Alaska; Brothers-in-law Ray Tanner, Joe Tanner and David Tanner and wife Peggy; sisters-in-law Sue Falling and husband Bob, Treba Hendrix and husband Havey and Jackie Tanner and numerous nieces and nephews.

Aubrey was preceded in death by his parents Hubert and Melva Faught; his son Steve Faught; brothers Leo Faught and wife Jo and Cleon Faught and wife Virginia; sisters Wanda Moore and husband Bob and Joan Anderson and husband Vern; brothers-in-law Garth Tanner and Jack Tanner and sisters-in-law Anna Corley and husband Arlo and Wahnee Tanner
