Memorial service for Daniel Lee "Dan" Cramer will be 2 p.m., Thurs., Jan. 22, at Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor Mark Burger officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the U.S. Air Force.
Dan passed away Sun., Jan. 25, 2015, at the Clarehouse, Tulsa, at the age of 66.
The son of Norman and Alvina (Walchner) Cramer was born May 8, 1948, in Kalamazoo, MI. Dan grew up and attended school in Michigan, and went on to serve in the U.S. Air Force. He served in the Military Police in Vietnam and continued his service the Air Force Reserves. After his service, Dan made his home in Oklahoma. He retired from the Oklahoma Department of Corrections where he was the Muskogee Chief of Police. Dan enjoyed watching football and "Sons of Anarchy"; and he enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle. He was an active member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, and the American Legion Riders.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents; several brothers and sisters; and brother-in-law, Lyle Stephens.
He is survived by his children: Kayla Danielle Phillips of Peggs, Kamille Dawn Banning and husband, Skylar of Tulsa, Hunter Lee Cramer of Tulsa, Dalton Lyle Cramer of Claremore, and Marcy Lou Cramer of Claremore; brother, Walt Cramer and wife, Peggy of Hemlock, MI; sister, Vernita Stephens of Bridgeport, MI; niece, Dorene Wilson and husband, Barry of Bridgeport, MI; and numerous extended family members.
