Born February 27, 1934 in Chelsea, Oklahoma to Edgar Timothy and Martha Jane (Birge) White, Faye attended school at Bushyhead, through the 8 grade and finished her education at Chelsea, graduating with the class of 1952.

In 1951 Alfred H. Davis was traveling through Chelsea as an evangelist, preaching revivals, and Faye happened to be at of his services. Following a courtship the two married on February 17, 1953. The young couple continued traveling and Alfred preached for many years. In the mid 1960's, Alfred became ill and was forced to retire. The couple moved to Bushyhead and purchased part of her parents homestead and this has been home since. Faye and Alfred were blessed with a son, Gary Neal in 1954; he passed away a short time later in 1955.

Faye was never idle, she worked outside her own home cleaning and fixing up apartments and homes for the next tenants. Family was most important to her and she took great care of them, most recently taking care of her sister in her recovery. Faye was very independent and never asked for help, but was willing to give a hand to anyone in need. She also enjoyed gardening and restoring old furniture.

The love of the Lord was evident in Faye's life, although she didn't place her membership with any particular church; she loved to go anywhere the true word of God was preached.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents; husband Alfred, son Gary Neal Davis; niece Sherry White and her brothers Everret White, Raymond White and Jessie White.

Those family members that survive include sister Mae Boyd of Bushyhead; her nieces and nephews Wayne Boyd of Bushyhead, Janice and Jim Collins of Claremore, Dawn White of Roswell, New Mexico, Vickie Phillips also of Bushyhead, Ronnie White of Claremore, John and Angie Boyd and Tammy and Bodie Hunt all of Chelsea; a host of great nieces and great nephews and other extended family members.
