Memorial service for Jennifer Lynn Eaton will be 1 p.m., Fri., Aug. 19, at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ray Crawford officiating.

Jennifer passed away Sat., Aug. 13, 2016, at St. John Hospital, Tulsa, at the age of 47.

The daughter of Patrick Michael Eaton and Patricia Ann (Work) Bernett was born Sept. 22, 1968, in Garden City, Michigan. Jennifer grew up in the Tulsa and Claremore area, graduating from Claremore High School in 1986. She continued her education at Oklahoma State University where she earned a bachelors degree in Business in 1992. In 1998, she earned a degree in Radiology and advanced her career with specialty registrations in CT and MRI. She has worked in the radiology field for the past 18 years, and has worked the last 8 years at St. Francis Hospital where she was currently the Radiology Quality Coordinator.

On Jan. 2, 2003, she married Steven Thomas Straw in Las Vegas, and they made their home in Claremore with their beloved horses and dogs. Jennifer loved traveling and country dancing. She also competed in horse cutting and enjoyed yoga with her friends. She will be dearly missed by her family as well as her many friends.

She is survived by her husband, Steve of the home; father, Pat Eaton and wife, Donna of Tulsa; mother, Patti Bernett and husband, Doug of Tulsa, brother, Pat Eaton and his wife, Regina of Bedford, TX; nephew, Chris Eaton of Bedford, TX; and mother-in-law, Sue Straw of Claremore.
