Memorial service for Joanne Irene Cooper will be 3 p.m., Fri., May 6, at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Michael Clark officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-3 p.m.
Joanne passed away Mon., May 2, 2016, at Clarehouse at the age of 80.
The daughter of Herbert Patrick Shisler and Irene Mary (Rhodes) Shisler was born Jan. 28, 1936, in Sharon, WI. She graduated from Harvard High School. Joanne moved to Claremore in the mid 90's, and worked for Claremore Public Schools as a dietician. Joanne enjoyed rummage sales, sitting in the sun, and just enjoying life.
Joanne was preceded in death by her husbands, Bob Cooper and Fred Alverez; and father, Herbert.
She is survived by her children: Chad Cooper and wife, Krissi of Orfordville, WI, Debbie LeMieux of Boy River, MN, Tina Blankenship of Kiel, WI, and Michael Blazer of Sharon, WI; mother, Irene M. Shisler of Claremore; 2 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and siblings: Don Shisler and wife, Sandy of Claremore, Nancy Webb and husband, LaVerne of Claremore, and Norma J. Ammerman of Claremore.
