Lisa Ann White

July 7, 1963 — September 7, 2017

Lisa passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the age of 54. The daughter of Larry Guy and Jeannie Cole Jennings was born July 7, 1963 in Salina, Kansas. She was raised in Chelsea where as a child she considered herself a tomboy. Riding horses, playing in the woods and taking care of her animals were just a few of her pastimes. As she entered junior high and high school, she took up basketball and joined FFA. After
graduating, she continued her education at NEO in Miami. When she finished college, she married Jim White, the love of her life, and moved to the Bristow area. There, she took a job working for PSO. She started out as a meter reader, and worked her way up to lineman. At this point in time, she was the only woman lineman at PSO. She continued working there until an injury forced her to retire. In her spare time, Lisa had many hobbies. She was very artistic. Her talents allowed her to make figurines out of wire, complete nature scenes that she would place under small glass globes, and she also was an excellent sketcher. Lisa loved jewelry and made many unique pieces of her own. Another love was having her cousin Thomas as a phone buddy. They would text and send pictures back and forth. They both shared a love for animals and action movies. Animals were her passion. It wasn't uncommon for her to be caring for skunks, opossums and any other hurt or abandoned animal. She also loved raising Pug dogs. There weren't many times in her life that she didn't have one by her side. She always considered her pugs as her true companions. Buttons, her last little pug was with her when she passed. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim White.
Survivors include her father, Larry Jennings, mother, Jeannie Campbell,
siblings, Guy Jennings and wife Rhonda, Felicia Jennings and Chris, Corissa Jennings and Michael, and Tiger Jennings; nieces and nephews, April, Emily, Chloe, Tucker, Brandon, Heather, Jacob, and Skylar; aunts and uncles, Gary and Janice Jennings, Jim and Greta Jennings, Pat and Ann McSpadden, and Patty and Kyle Hitt, along with many other cousins and extended family.
