John Mark Davis was born May 29, 1962, in Cushing to Clifford Leroy Davis and Beverly Sue (Phillips) Davis. He passed away Sun., April 12, 2015, at his home at the age of 52.
Mark grew up in Cushing, and graduated from Cushing High School where he ran track and played baseball. His first job in high school was at the Steer Inn. After high school Mark entered the U.S. Navy and served until retirement. He served during Desert Storm and last served at Tinker Air Force Base with the military police. Mark was recently working at Coreslab Structures where he was a production coordinator.
On March 15, 2004, Mark married Farrah Lynn Warren in Hood County, TX. After Mark's retirement from the Navy they moved to Owasso and later to the Verdigris area. He was currently working with Coreslab Structures as production coordinator.
Mark had a passion for guns. He enjoyed collecting guns, and reloading bullets. He also developed passions for woodworking and photography. He was talented at everything he did.
Mark is survived by his wife, Farrah of the home; children: C.J. Johnston and husband, Brian of Ridgecrest, CA, Christopher Davis of Ridgecrest, CA, and Precious Davis of Verdigris; parents, Clifford and Beverly Davis of Claremore; brother, Mike Davis and wife, Kristen of Candia, NH; sister, Robin Roe and husband, R.D. of Ft. Worth, TX; and grandchildren: Brice Johnston, Jude Huddleston, Lily Huddleston, and Mason Johnston all of Ridgecrest, CA.
