Service for Chelsea resident Patricia Anne Napier will be 2:00p.m., Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Clark officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, March 20 rom 1--8pm.
Patty passed away at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa on Wednesday, March 15, 2017. She was 68 years old.
Patty was born February 21, 1949, in LeRoy, Illinois, to Harry and Martha (Godsell) Henson. She graduated from LeRoy High School in 1967. She eventually move to Oklahoma to be near family.
Patty spent most of her working career as a legal secretary. In her spare time she loved genealogy, playing Nintendo and sewing. She made awesome Halloween costumes for her children, and volunteered at their school. She also served as Girl Scout and Boy Scout leaders. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her children, Billie Anne Grigg and husband Mike of Chelsea, James McGregor of Tulsa and Shawn Williamson of Texas; her fiancée' Jeff Hobbs of Chelsea; grandchildren Ian, Lily and Willow Grigg and Jaime McGregor and her brother Dennis Henson.
