Pauline Florence Gange

Mass of Christian Burial for Pauline Florence Gange will be 2 p.m., Friday, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church with Father Sylvanus Amaobi officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday 1-7 p.m., and family will greet friends 6-7 p.m. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home with Deacon Vince Mrasek officiating.

Pauline passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at the age of 74.

The daughter of William Edward Gange and Pauline Grace (Boardway) Gange was born September 19, 1941, in Oswego, NY. She graduated high school in Oswego; and later proudly served in the U.S. Army. She moved throughout the country and lived in South Korea for a short time. After her discharge from the military she made her home in Texas, before eventually moving to Oklahoma.

During her working career, Pauline was a secretary in many areas. She was proud of her work as a secretary for the U.S. Army Military Intelligence.

Pauline was active raising and showing championship Collies for many years. She was well known for her dogs excellent blood line. She has shown at the Westminister Dog Show, and won many awards at National, Canadian, and Mexican competitions. She was a member of Collie Club of America, and secretary to the Collie Club of America Foundation Committee for 8 years. She also served on the grant committee for the foundation.

Pauline stayed active with water aerobics at the Claremore Rec Center as many days of the week as she could, and had wonderful friendships with those she worked out with. She also enjoyed gardening and reading; and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. She attended St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Claremore.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, William Gange.

Pauline is survived by her children: Renee M. Tinney and husband, James of Chelsea, Colleen M. Henry and husband, Michael of San Angelo, TX, and Christopher Michael Allmon of Missouri; sisters: Mary Ann Ebert and husband, George of Sterling, NY, and Betsy Bachety and husband, Joe of Baldwin, NY; grandchildren: Jennifer Evans, Jessica Evans, Jason Evans, Dale Tinney, Dakota Tinney, Tanasha Gabbert, Katie Matranga, and Curtis Matranga; and 3 great-grandchildren.
