Rick Rawding

Steven Erick "Rick" Rawding, the son of C.V. Rawding and Inez L. (Searl) Rawding, was born October 4, 1947, in Montebella, CA. He passed away Friday, September 30, 2016, at his home at the age of 68.
Rick graduated from Inola High School in 1965, and continued his education at the Oklahoma Military Academy and University of Tulsa. While in high school and college Rick worked as a projectionist at the Yale Theater in Claremore. He then went to work at the KWPR Radio Station in Claremore as Chief Broadcast Engineer. Rick was currently the owner of Fail-Safe Security.
He was a long time member of Claremore Elks Lodge, and enjoyed working on his farm in Inola.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Rawding of Inola; son, Erick Rawding of Inola; grandchildren: Brett Shaw of Stillwater, Braden Rawding of Inola, and Breanna Rawding of Inola; and close friends, Dan and Kathy Riem.
