Ruth E. Johnson

A memorial service for Ruth Johnson will be 11:00a.m., Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Friendly Foyil Baptist Church, her pastor, Mike Clark will officiate. Visitation will be from 6pm—8pm Wednesday, April 22 at the funeral home. Ruth passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at the age of 75.
Ruth Evelyn Johnson was born November 1, 1939 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Amos and Irene (Earp) Johnson. She became a nurse following her schooling and worked as a private duty nurse throughout most of her life. She was always in demand and took great pride in her work. Ruth loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend will be missed by all who knew her. Those family members that survive include her husband Loren "Red" Irons of their home in Claremore; her children Roy Moss and Sandra, Chester Moss, Cynthia Law and Charles and Carl Moss and Damita; her grandchildren Amber Victor and Becky, Shawn Irons and Meleah, Felicia Lankford and Eric, Trisha Sharpe and Timothy, Carl Moss II and Crystal, Marissa Moore and Jeremy, and Kaylie Moss; her great grandchildren Jake, Kristian, Marcus, Timothy, Jasmine, Ellie, Jonathan, Melinda, Karissa, Misty, Ashlynn, Kyler and Rayleigh; her siblings Leo Johnson, Rudory Johnson, Alfred Johnson, Lloyd Johnson, Kathy Hillburn, Barbara Bullock, and Vicky Kinsey. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Jason Moss.
