Service for Sheryl Jeanette Marshall will be 1:30p.m., Friday, February 16, 2018 at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel. Sheryl passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018. She was 69.
Born June 4, 1948 in Dodge City, Kansas to Ruben R. and Doris Jean (Burdue) Koehn, Sheryl graduated in 1966 and moved to Tulsa where she obtained a job at a crating business. In 1973 she began working for Whitney Supply Company, later she worked for Texaco. Sheryl next worked for Republic Supply Company; this took her to Dallas in 1987. She retired after 45 years of faithful service.
Sheryl married Jim Marshall on June 28, 1996 and the couple made their home in Dallas. She enjoyed reading novels and the Bible, but her family was most important to her and she treasured time spent with them. She also had a love of animals and had several pets.
Those family members that survive include her husband Jim of their home in Dallas; her children Eva Marie Parker of Newcastle England, Cassandra Jean Bigelow of Tulsa and their father Ronald "Griff" Bigelow also of Tulsa; her step children James H Marshall, III, Sam F. Marshall, Paul W. Marshall and Michael L. Marshall; her grandchildren James Marshall IV, Julia Marshall, Jordan Marshall, Frank Marshall and Ella Marshall. Sheryl was preceded in death by her parents Ruben and Doris Koehn and her brother Larry Koehn.
