Benjamin Franklin Crockett was born on September 11, 1935 in Tucker, Oklahoma; to Charles and Cora Crockett. Frank passed from this life on Monday, October 29, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 83.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents and 11 older brothers and sisters. Frank is survived by his wife of 63 years, Norma of Tulsa, Oklahoma and his children, Kathy Lemmons and fiancé Ban Ormsby of Sperry, Oklahoma; Jerry and Dilene Crockett of Inola, Oklahoma; and grandchildren, Andy Havens and Lisa Garner of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and Robin Havens and Robert Ferrel of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and great grandchildren, Tayler and Kennedi Marks, of Jacksonville, FL and Colton Ferrel of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Frank grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and married Norma Thornton December 24, 1955. He worked for Vensel Company before founding Meeks Lithographing Company in 1958 with his partner Minton Meeks. Frank semi-retired in 2000 and enjoyed visiting his grandchildren and great-grandchildren in Florida. Frank loved to garden and mow. He enjoyed vacations on the water with his family. Frank was baptized in 2007 and took pleasure in reading his Bible. Frank loved to sit by the fire with his dog Maddie on his lap and read thousands of Westerns on his Kindle.
