A Celebration of Life for Bobby Joe Johnson will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, October 5th. Family and friends unable to attend Monday can visit him Sunday, October 4th from 2:00-5:00 pm. Both days of Celebration will be held at the Inola Funeral Home Chapel.
Bobby passed on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at the young age of 65.
Leroy and Elsie Johnson blessed us all with Bobby on December 29, 1954 in Pryor, Oklahoma. On December 31, 1980, Bobby married Thelma (Tiger). He and Tiger vowed to live a life of happiness and eternal love together. That vow has created an example of what true dedication means.


Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Tiger and their daughters; Jana Root and her husband David of Claremore, Becky Stocker and her husband Greg of Sand Springs, Heather Hewitt and her husband David of Catoosa. Grandchildren; Megan McElroy and her husband Codi of Claremore, Jacob Hammerlein and his wife Arin of Claremore, Chase Stocker and his fiance Tynea LaCosta of Tulsa, Emma Hewitt of Catoosa, Maddy Keeley of Tulsa, Craig and Hope Root of Bluejacket, Katie Herd and her husband Trent of Bluejacket, Ryan and Sam Root of Claremore and Tyler and Tally Root of Claremore. Great-Grandchildren; Sawyer Grace McElroy of Claremore; Lizzie Dawn, Brayden and Natalie Herd of Bluejacket, Weston and Aiden Root of Claremore. Sister; Ruth Ann Collins and her husband Doyle of Prattville. Brothers; Leroy Johnson, Jr and Deborah Richardson of Skiatook,
Donnie Johnson of Wagoner, Chester Johnson and Le'Ann Scantlen of Wagoner and Jerry Dean Johnson of Wagoner. Sisters-in-law; Elizabeth Johnson of Broken Arrow and Teresa Moore of Wagoner. And many nieces, nephews, friends and their families.

Bobby is once again reunited with his parents, sister Eileen, brother Terry, in-laws Raymond and Goldie Faye Pearson, aunt and uncle Elmer and Janet Good, and nephew Tyler Lumberjack Smith.



Bobby is building the biggest home for all of his family and friends. Until we meet again "Babe, Dad, Daddy, Papa, Grandpa, Uncle Bob, Big Bad Bob Johnson". Beep, beep!
