Graveside service for Bruce Jennings Waters will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Sweeten Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 28, from 1pm-8pm. Bruce passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020. He was 66.
Bruce was born December 9th, 1953 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Lennious Jennings and Ida Imogene (Lacy) Waters. He married Mona (Holbrook) Waters on September 9, 1988 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Bruce worked in the heat and air industry for 50 years owning and operating Waters Heat & Air.
His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and going to auctions. Bruce collected oil lamps and loved to tinker in his shop.
Those family members that survive include his wife Mona of their home; his children Stacy Waters and wife Brooke of Broken Arrow, Amber Waters of Vinita, and Stephanie Chrisman and husband John of Arcadia; his seven grandchildren Maxee, Madeline, Ethan, Rylee, Lauren, Andrew, and Samuel; and his sister Gina (Waters) Meigs.
