February 22, 1967 — December 24, 2018

Funeral service for Deborah Lynn Brown will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 31, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Inola.

Deborah passed away on December 24, 2018 at the age of 51.

The daughter of Jeffery McFarland and Donna Tate was born February 22nd, 1967 in Akron, Ohio. As a young girl she and her family moved to Washington state. A few years later they found themselves moving once again, this time to Oklahoma. The majority of her childhood was spent in Inola. There she attended school until transferring to Claremore her senior year. She was a member of the graduating class of 1985. After graduating Deborah moved to Mississippi. Eventually she moved back to Inola to be near her family. It was in Inola one evening while cruising in town that she met Joey Brown. They began dating and married on July 20, 1991. They made their home in Inola, where they began raising their family. Deborah found her calling working in health care. She worked primarily as a CMA for Inola Health Care Center and Canoe Brook Assisted Living Center in Tulsa. She always found great pleasure in helping the residents. However the past couple of years Deborah worked her dream job as a stay at home wife.
In her spare time Deborah loved watching OU Football, fishing and even going to the casino. However her true loved revolved around her family. She loved them being around, especially during the holiday season. Her grandchildren were spoiled way more than her children.
Deborah had a great zest for life and lived it to her fullest.

She is preceded in death by her best friend and soul sister Shawna Turner.

Survivors include her husband Joey; parents, Jeffery McFarland and Donna Tate; sons, Aaron and Donovan Brown; adopted daughters, Jennifer Meeks, Jamie Pickham, and Janel Tackett; grandchildren, Brooklyn and Cambrie Brown; brother, Jeffery "Dean" McFarland Jr; sisters, Priscillia Epperson, Donnella James, and Michelle Sitsler, along with many other nieces, nephews and cousins.
