Ed Byler

Funeral service for Charles Edward "Ed" Byler will be 2 p.m., Tues., June 26, at Chelsea Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jay McAlister officiating. Burial will follow at Chelsea Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Mon. 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

Ed passed away Sat., June 23, 2012, at St. John Owasso Hospital at the age of 64.

The son of Marshel and Clara (Neel) Byler was born Oct. 19, 1947, in Lunenburg, AR. Ed attended Alluwe High School. He worked at the Libby Glass Company in Sapulpa, before his disability. He is a member of Winganon Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Kenith Byler.

Ed is survived by his sisters: Geraldine Byler of Pryor, Caroline Harris and husband, Bill of Tulsa, and Nona Carpenter and husband, Dale of Joplin, MO; nephew, Michael Harris of Tulsa; nieces: Anneliese Piquet and husband, Tim of Tulsa, Lydia Spiegal and husband, Danny of Vinita, and Mari Simpronio and husband, Mark of Bridgville, PA, and many other nieces and nephews.
