James William "Jim" Hadley

Service for James William "Jim" Hadley will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 14, 2019 at Oologah United Methodist Church, burial will follow at Lone Elm Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday, January 13, from 1pm-6pm. Jim passed away on Tuesday, January 8th, 2019. He was 76.

Born May 28, 1942 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to Homer Theodore and Nora Ailene (Swaney) Hadley, Jim attended schools in Tulsa, graduating from Central High School. The following year he married his high school sweet heart, Lynda Ruth Quick; the couple made their home first in Tulsa, then later in Inola before moving to Catoosa.

Jim worked as a flooring supervisor for Bright Construction, he also installed tile and carpet for many years as well. A hard worker, he was one who made sure the job was done well and on time. His hobbies included model trains and collecting and selling cars. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved traveling with his wife Lynda. He was a great role model to his son with his work ethic and honesty.

Those family members that survive include his son Steve Hadley and wife Bobbie; his grandchildren Tyler Colclasure and wife Alicia, and Spencer Hadley; his great- granddaughter Nova Colclasure; brother and sister-in-law Gary and Kathy Quick and nephew Pastor Mark Quick.
