Jerry Lee Bryeans

A visitation to celebrate the life of Jerry Lee Bryeans will be held from 6-8 pm on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at his family home in Inola, Oklahoma.
A graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Farmington Cemetery in Springfield, Illinois. Jerry passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019. He was 79 years old.
Jerry was born in Oran, Missouri on June 5, 1939, to parents Jefferson and Elsie Bryeans. He grew up and attended school in Melvin, Illinois, graduating with the class of 1957. He obtained his Associates Degree from Lewis University in Illinois, and became an A& P Inspector. He worked at American Airlines for 48 years, until his retirement.
In 1963, Jerry married Emily L. Tones. This union was blessed with two children, Amy and Danny. Jerry's most enjoyable times were spent with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife Emily; his children Amy Allen and husband Paul, and Danny Bryeans and wife Mishalee; grandchildren Aleisha and Braden Bryeans; brother Robert Bryeans; and sister Norma Thompson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
