Jane passed from her earthly life and into her heavenly home on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at the age of 77.

The daughter of Ralph and Mary 'Lib' Ganner Spurlock was born February 20th, 1941 in Pryor, Oklahoma. As a young girl, Jane spent her childhood in and around the Inola area. She attended Inola schools, graduating as a member of the class of 1959. It was during her high school years that she met Bert Stout. They became high school sweethearts, and married on November 5, 1959, and the newlywed couple continued living in the Inola area. During the first few years of their marriage, Jane worked as a book keeper at the Children's Medical Center in Tulsa while Bert furthered his education. After the birth of their first child, Mark, Jane decided to stay at home and focus on her family. Years later, Jane saw a need at her church for someone to perform custodial services, this eventually led her to forming Stout's Cleaning Service. Jane saw another opportunity to serve in her church by organizing Silver Halo's, which provided a meal once a month to retired individuals and allowed them to gather and have fellowship, arts, crafts, and day trips around the area.

Jane devoted her time to helping others and loved working with the children and babies in her church's nursery by serving as a Sunday School teacher. Jane truly saw it as her calling to minister to others around her in their time of need and heartache, and served as the church's Bereavement Coordinator for many years, a role that she just recently passed along to allow others to serve. Another love of Jane's was spending time with her family. She worked diligently to cook Sunday dinners for her family, as well as organize holiday get-togethers. Jane cherished these opportunities to show her family love through acts of service and quality time spent together. Her other hobbies included sewing and cooking. She utilized these hobbies to serve others by hand-making aprons, children's clothing, baby blankets, and other items that would be useful to new mothers.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Mary 'Lib' Spurlock, son, Mark Stout, and siblings, Linda Baldridge and Butch Spurlock.

Survivors include her husband Bert; son, James Stout; daughter, Susan Reed and husband Eric, daughter-in-law, Amy Ingersoll; grandchildren, Audrey and Chandler Stout, Landon and Logan Reed and Cora Ingersoll; sisters, Loretta Best and husband Virgil, and Sharon Burgett and husband Charlie as well as many other extended family and friends.
