Service for Lownetta Marie Boyd will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel, she will be laid to rest beside her husband, Ross, at Woodlawn Cemetery. Lownetta passed away at her home on Sunday, June 20, 2021. She was 98 years old.
Lownetta was born October 27, 1922 in Circle City, Louisiana to Henry Walter and Sally Sara (King) Williamson. She married Ross Boyd, and was blessed with two children and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She worked in the bakery at Humpty Dumpty grocery store.
Lownetta was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Ross.
She is survived by her children, Judy Boyd and Tommy Boyd; grandchildren, Tony Tanner, Amanda Park, Jessica RoBards, and T.J. Boyd; and great-grandchildren, Tanner Lusti, Conner Osten, Dax Weast, Ross Boyd, Reed Boyd, Ryan RoBards, and Rose Boyd.
