Meretta Maxine Rohr, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, went to heaven on Saturday, November 2 at the age of 96, eleven days shy of 97.
Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on November 13th, 1922 to Lillie Mason Pickett and Buford Pickett, she grew up the eldest of 2 siblings; Wayne and Pic.
Maxine worked in retail for J.C. Penny and Anthony’s in Claremore, she managed Hillcrest Grocery Store, and was also employed with Akin Health Foods in Tulsa.
Maxine was a wonderful homemaker, wife and mother.
Maxine is survived by her son Devin Rohr and wife Tonya. Five Grandchildren; Travis Rohr, and wife Michelle of Tulsa, Colton and wife Megan of Joshua, TX, Kelsey Rohr of Tulsa, Cassady Rohr of Verdigris, and Caleb Rohr of Birmingham, AL.
Four Great grandchildren; Daniel, Felicia, Jaxon, and Finnley.
She was preceded in death by: Her parents Lillie and Buford Pickett, Husband Ronnie Rohr, Son Loren Rohr, Two brothers; Wayne Pickett and Pic Pickett.
The family wishes to thank all who prayed for them and helped with Maxine’s journey.
A service will be held at Muskgrove Merriot Payne Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at 11:00 AM.
