Michael Wayne Maupin

Michael Wayne Maupin was born in Columbia Missouri on November 26th, 1970, to parents Robert & Beverly Maupin.
On Feb 29th 1992 Michael married the love of his life Shelly Maupin and together they had 3 children. Ryan & Bri Maupin of Pryor, Oklahoma, David & Alisha Maupin of Foyil, Oklahoma & Emily Maupin & Fiance’ Jesse Barnes of Foyil, Oklahoma.
Michael also has 5 grandchildren that he loved with all his heart. Jackson Richardson, Ensley Maupin, OakLee Barnes, Henry Barnes and another grandchild on the way.
Michael was a loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle and PAPA, who loved to have family gatherings where he would smoke meats or BBQ. He loved to go trout fishing with his family, and was an avid football fan of the Kansas City Chiefs & OU Sooners. Michael also loved watching OKC Thunder play. He had a love of wood working and carpentry, and worked for Scientific Games out of Tulsa for more than 10 years.
Michael is survived by his parents Robert & Beverly Maupin of Verdigris OK, Siblings Robert & Jolene Maupin of Midwest City, Suzy & Robby Falling of Tulsa Oklahoma, Gregory Maupin of Eufaula OK, Kimberly & William Solt of Tulsa, and Shayne Maupin of Verdigris OK. Father-in-Law’s James Adams of Foyil Ok, Phillip Way of Pryor OK, Brother-in-law Michael & Cynthia Adams of Locust Grove OK.
He also has several nephews that he loved very much, and loved to tease and pick on them every time he saw them. Timothy Maupin, Toby Falling, Jason & Hailie Falling, KC Falling, Kenneth Maupin, Corey Maupin, Leo, Archer and Dustin Solt, and Hunter Adams
He is proceeded in death by his Grandparents, Cleo & Edna Brown, Ernest & Hazel Maupin, Mother-in-laws Janet Way & Karen Adams
