Service for Nelma Pauline Hutchins will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9am-12pm, before the service. Nelma passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2019. She was 80.
Born March 30, 1939 in Burksville, Kentucky, one of six children to John and Gertie (Garner) Thaker, Nelma attended schools in her birth community.
Nelma move to Claremore, Oklahoma, where she met and married Kenneth Hutchins. They have had 46 wonderful years. She enjoyed traveling and gardening, she also loved to go fishing.
A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Nelma was preceded in death by her 4 brothers, Homer, Hall, Otis, and Earl Garner, sister Olene Hoots and her son Tony Riddle. Those family members that survive include her husband Kenneth Hutchins; sons Mike Riddle of Winchester, Indiana, David Riddle of Richmond, Indiana, James Riddle of Tulsa, Johnny Riddle of Claremore, Terry Riddle also of Richmond, Indiana; her daughters Joann Riddle of Richmond, Indiana, Mary Riddle of Cedar Park, Texas and Kathy Riddle Shaffer of Claremore; 22 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
