Memorial service for Phillip Rollman will be 2:00 pm Friday, March 6, 2020, at MMS-Payne Funeral Home in Claremore. Art Hamel will officiate. Phillip passed from this life at his home in Big Cabin on Saturday, February 29, 2020. He was 57 years old.
The son of George Phillip Rollman and Essie Mae (Bradley) Rollman was born August 9, 1962, in Stilwell, Oklahoma. As a child, he moved with his family to Chelsea, where he attended school. He enjoyed attending Vo-Tech, and graduated from Chelsea High School in 1981. Phillip started working early in life. He began hauling hay for Raymond Perkins on his farm at the age of 13. After graduation, he worked for awhile in the oil field for the Fred Escot company before a stint at Dieco. Later, he earned his commerical driver's license, and began long haul truck driving for CFI. His last job was driving a truck for Oklahoma Department of Transportation, which he held for 17 years.
One of Phillip's passions was tinkering with old trucks. He also enjoyed going to the casino and the lake, and watching football. He was a Denver Broncos and OU Sooners fan.
Phillip was preceded in death by his parents, George and Essie Mae Rollman.
He is survived by his son Phillip Rollman; grandson Beckett Lee Rollman; and sisters Rosemary Brashers and husband Charlie, Kathryn Porter and husband Nick, Donna Ford, and Wanda Nichol.
