Memorial service, with lunch to follow, for Robert Dee Luellen will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Riverbend Arena, Inola, Oklahoma. Bob passed away on Thursday, November 8th, 2018. He was 70.

Born December 16, 1947 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Tom Winfield and Christine (Colsten) Luellen, Bob attended school in Tulsa, graduating with the class of 1966 from Tulsa Central. In 1967 he was drafted into the Army and served his country during the Vietnam War. During this time he began as a mine sweeper and later moved to combat engineer, but with his quick learning skills, Bob moved up to machine operating engineer. He also managed the enlisted men's saloon.

After Bob was honorably discharged, he returned to the states and joined the Union of Operating Engineers Local 627, where he started as a scraper operator. In 1977 he worked at the Oologah Power House. In 1984 Bob became business representative for Local 627.

Bob enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. His family was most important to him and he spent every opportunity he could with them. He loved horses, ridding and roping and going on trail rides. Bob also liked watching old western movies.

Those family member that survive include his children Bo Luellen of Broken Arrow, Melissa Standeford and husband Steve of Wiley, Texas, Shani Woodruff and husband Randy and Amy Dossett and husband Brian all of Claremore; friends Teresa and George Garner of Owasso; grandchildren Jake Standeford, Jon Standeford, Luke Woodruff, Kavan Woodruff, Brianna Dossett, Kayla Dossett and Robert D. Luellen, III; sister Lachette Bagwell of Owasso. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; sister Ann Stafford, brothers Wayne Luellen and Tommy Luellen and brother-in-law Danny Bagwell.
