Russell Gene Shaw

Russell G Shaw, 62, of Inola, OK passed away September 6, 2017, after a long battle with cancer. Russell was born in Independence, KS November 25, 1954, to the late Cecil Marion Shaw and Emma Jean Shaw. Russell married Jill 24 years ago, and they made their home in Inola. He was employed by Nordam for over 17 years.

Russell is survived by his wife Jill Shaw of the home, mother Emma Shaw Mills of Bartlesviille, OK, brother Dale Shaw and wife Kathy of Orlando, FL, sister Mary Bemies of Glenpool, OK, two daughters, April Tate and Lisa Shaw, one son, Michael Shaw, nine grandchildren, two great- grandchildren, multiple nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Russell was preceded in death by his father, a grandson, and grandparents.
Russell enjoyed fishing, raising goats, and watching Nascar. He will be missed everyday.

Visitation will be September 14, 2017 at the Inola Funeral Home from 5-8 pm and the memorial service will be September 15, 2017, at the First Baptist Church in Inola at 11 am.
