Steven Wade Roberts

Services celebrating and remembering the life of Steven W. Roberts will be December 29th, 2020 at 2 p.m. at the Oologah Senior Center. Steven passed away December 13, 2020 in Tulsa, OK, at the age of 38.
He was born in Claremore, OK on January 19, 1982 to Grant and Jeri Roberts. Steven was raised in Chelsea Oklahoma. He graduated from Chelsea High School in 2000. He was a very proud Chelsea Green Dragon. He loved playing drums in the band, helping to manage the sports teams, being with his family and giving his brother and sister a hard time. He developed a great love for music, and of course the OU Sooners. He enjoyed going to Rocklahoma, Edgefest, and the Birthday Bash. He loved spending time with his friends at The Boys and Girls Club in Chelsea. He was a gentle soul who never met a stranger. He looked forward to the family Christmas at his home every year to see his grandparents, aunts and uncles, and numerous cousins and play dirty Santa. He especially loved his Grandmother's Christmas cookies. She made him a special batch in his last weeks.
Steven fought a valiant battle in his last few weeks to stay here with his loved ones, but his body was just too tired. He will be missed by all who knew him, especially his mother Jeri Roberts and his brother Doug and sister Sara.
Steven is survived by his mother Jeri Roberts and her fiancé Tom Farmer of Oologah, his brother Doug Roberts of Oologah, his sister Sara Roberts and her fiancé Tyler Christensen of Claremore, grandparents Jerry and Carol Elam of Claremore, and nieces Emmalynn and Alyssa, and nephew Brayden.
He was preceded in death by his father Grant Roberts and grandparents Shirley Gregory and Guy and Drucilla Roberts.
