Trixie Stinnett

February 26, 1952 — March 11, 2022

Laura Mae “Trixie” Stinnett was born February 26, 1952 to Jimmie Joe and Susie Allien Atchley. She was born near Alluwe, OK in the home of her grandparents’, Bert and Jesse Melton. Trixie grew up in the Bushyhead area and attended Bushyhead School from first to eighth grade. She then attended Chelsea High School where she was football homecoming queen her sophomore year. She loved all sports and was named the “Basketball Queen”.

On July 30, 1982 she married the love of her life, Gary Stinnett. Trixie was a very successful business woman having owned several businesses including Trixie’s Daylight Donut Shop. She sold the donut shop in July 1996. Then before she retired in 2017 she had several different occupations.  She enjoyed planting flowers and being outdoors. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, and especially her grandchildren.

She was a very loving and giving person who was there for anyone who needed her and always had a smile for everyone. Trixie went to her heavenly home on March 11, 2022, with her family by her side.

Trixie was preceded in death by her husband Gary Stinnett, her parents Jimmie and Allien Atchley, father-in-law Jack Stinnett Sr., brothers Johnny and Jimmie Atchley, and nephew Jimmy Lee White.
