Clint Sharp

October 30, 1946 — June 20, 2015

Clint Sharp was born to parents CC Sharp, II and Agnes Dubois Sharp on October 30, 1946 in Galveston, TX. He graduated from LaMarque High School, married Sharon Dodd and went into the Army Reserve. He also served in the Navy Reserve. Clint attended Lamar State College in Beaumont, TX, graduating in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science and a minor in Marine Biology. In the midst of that time, his daughter Shannon was born. Clint spent most of his working career as a Christian Education Minister, living in Atlanta, GA and Arlington, TX. His wife, Sharon, passed away in 1986. Spending a few years as a widower father, he and Shannon purchased a couple of horses and boarded them at a barn in Arlington. That is where he met Janet, not knowing they would become a husband and wife team who dedicated the next 25 years of their life to animal rescue and education work. They formed Timberline Wildlife, a non-profit organization. Most of their work was traveling to and from Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.

Clint, aka Bubba is survived by his wife Janet Jones Sharp ; daughter Shannon Castleman and her husband Tye, grandchildren Jake, Belle and Daniel of Arlington, TX ; daughter Lesa Smith and her husband Cliff and grandchildren Joel and Kori, Zach and Marissa of Claremore, OK ; son John Curnutt and his wife Tiffany and grandson Johnathan of Mountain City, TX ; grandson Seth Curnutt of Pace, FL ; sisters and their families in Texas.
