It doesn’t matter where you live in northeast Oklahoma, we have a
facility near you to take care of your loved one at the time of their
passing. With funeral homes in Inola and Chelsea, as well as our home
office in Claremore, we have Rogers County and the surrounding area
covered. No need to drive long distances for a visitation or a funeral.
We can assist you where you are.
Concerning the current Coronavirus situation: Our community and the families we serve are always our top priority. We want to assure you that we are taking proactive measures to help prevent the spread of any potential illness.
We are currently monitoring guidelines from the CDC and WHO, as well as federal and local government entities, and will comply with all required or necessary measures.
We will make every effort to accommodate families in making arrangements and conducting services in any capacity needed to ensure their safety and comfort while honoring their loved one. In order to help protect our clients and members of the public:
-We can assist families in making arrangements by phone or
email, if needed. -We are requesting guests who are experiencing any
symptoms, such as fever, coughing, sneezing, or shortness
of breath to refrain from visiting the funeral home. You can
pay your respects on our website,
www.mmsfuneralhomes.com, or call us to ask that your
name be signed in the deceased's memory book. -If you do attend a service or visitation, we ask that you
refrain from physical contact, such as hugging or shaking
hands. Please be respectful of others during this time. -CDC guidelines state: "There is currently no known risk
associated with being in the same room at a funeral or
visitation service with the body of someone who died of
COVID-19. However, people should consider not touching
the body of someone who has died of COVID-19." -Currently, we do not have any cases of clients who passed
away with COVID-19. -We encourage everyone to wash their hands as often as
possible. Hand washing facilities are available in our public
areas. -As always, we are being extremely vigilant about the
cleaning and sanitizing of our facilities.
If any of these policies need to be changed or upgraded, we will keep you informed. As always, we are here to serve our client families with the utmost care and concern. If you have any questions about this or any other matter, please feel free to contact us.
Update to the Coronavirus information: We are still having visitations at all three of our facilities, while obeying the ten person at a time rule. We are asking all visitors to help us abide by this rule, and to be at least six feet away from other visitors at all times. You may have to wait a few minutes before entering, if there are already ten persons inside, including staff. Thank you very much for your patience and help with this endeavor. Also, please be understanding of the families who have chosen to have services at a later date because of the current guidelines.
