Diann Dodd

Funeral service for Rita "Diann" Dodd will be 11 a.m., Tues., May 26, at Inola Christian Church with Pastor Shawn Money officiating. Burial will follow at Sweeten Cemetery under the direction of Inola Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Mon. 1-6 p.m., and family will greet friends 4-6 p.m.

Diann passed away Fri., May 22, 2015, at Hillcrest Hospital, Tulsa, at the age of 65.

The daughter of Edgar Lee "Dick" Ogdon and Nellie Mae (Bledsoe) Ogdon was born September 26, 1949, in Ft. Smith, AR. She attended Muldrow High School and graduated from Northeastern State University with a Masters degree in Business Education. In her career, she achieved Master teacher status at the state level. She taught Financial Literacy and served as head of the Business department at Catoosa High School.

She is survived by her husband, Douglas Dodd; children: Billy Jack Harvell, Jr. of Claremore, and Angel McMore of New Oxford, PA; step-daughters: Connie Duncan of Porum, and Amanda Frye of Cleveland; brother, Eddie Ogdon and wife, Anna of Muldrow; and 10 grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Nellie Ogdon.
