She was 71.

Born in Boston Massachusetts on October 12, 1944 to Lorine Wilbur, Jody was reared and educated in West Bridgewater, graduating with the class of 1962. Following her graduation, she married Frederick W. Booth and the couple made their home in West Bridgewater where together they raised 3 children. Fred's work with American Airlines brought the family to Claremore in 1978 and this has been home since.

Jody was truly a homemaker in every sense of the word and enjoyed taking care of her family. She also had a home cleaning business and a venture in a candy store through the years. Jody was famous for her pizza pies, a talent she learned from a dear friend that just happened to be Italian. She was featured in the Claremore Progress on her pizza making skills. Jody also made the best apple pie in the world, her family could not even be tempted to eat any other. Holidays were special to Jody and she made everything wonderful for her family. The decorations took weeks to put up in just the right place, it was always a labor of love.

Not only did Jody's family receive her love, affection and good cooking, many of her children's friends were recipients as well. Whether fixing a full home cooked meal for 65 football players for her son's team or cooking for a house full of family and friends, she always made it seem effortless. When grandchildren started arriving, Jody was there making sure they had everything they needed and spent every opportunity with them she could. Jody enjoyed family trips that took them to many different places, but Disney was her most favorite destination of them all. Projects were common around the Booth house. When the words "I have been thinking" were uttered, Fred knew he would be creating Jody's idea.

A wonderful wife, mother, Grammy and friend, Jody will be missed by all. Those family members that survive include her husband Fred of their home; children Tracy Lynn Gaston and husband Robert of Tulsa and Michael Paul Booth of Claremore; her grandchildren Brittany Lopez and husband Alex of Oxford, Mississippi, Tory Gilson of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Emily Gaston and Beau Gaston of Tulsa; her brothers Christopher Erbeck and wife Roberta of Oologah and David Erbeck of Hollywood, FL; her brothers-in-law David Booth and Dale Booth of Onset, Massachusetts and many nieces, nephews and friends. Jody was preceded in death by her mother Lorine Wilbur; her daughter Kim Gilson; her brother Richard Erbeck; her sister's Beverly Murray and Janis Altwein.
