Judy Taylor

Funeral service for Judy Carol Taylor will be 10 a.m., Thurs., Nov. 6, at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wed. 1-8 p.m.

Judy passed away Fri., Oct. 31, 2014, at Hillcrest Hospital, Tulsa, at the age of 65.

The daughter of Burt and Loretta (Losey) Logston was born April 25, 1949, in Riverside, CA. The family moved to the Sequoyah area when Judy was ten years old. She graduated from Sequoyah High School in 1968; and on May 10 of that same year she married Johnny Ray Taylor at Washington Baptist Church. They made their home in Claremore. Judy retired as a cook from Claremore Nursing Home. She enjoyed crocheting and taking care of animals.

Judy was preceded in death by her daughter, Lynetta Woods; her parents; brother, Timmy Logston; and sister, Eunice Logston.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny; grandchildren: Jonny Woods and wife, Christina, and Toni Woods; great-grandchildren: Logan, Landon, Jason, and Brianna Woods; and brothers: Butch and Gary Logston.
