Anyone who had the pleasure knowing Bridget, knew that she beamed with kindness and overflowed with love for her family & friends. She wore many hats in life– daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, teacher, friend to all, and passionate lover of the Lord. Bridget embodied strength, determination, and encouraged everyone around her to be the best versions of themselves. Bridget was especially proud of her daughters, Hannah and Ashleigh– two of her greatest loves. From dance to soccer to softball to athletic training and their academics, she encouraged her girls to always do their best and put their best foot forward. As a proud Oklahoma State Alum, Bridget loved her OSU Cowboys. From scolding Don to stop hollering during football games to tailgating with family-friends– she wore her orange proudly. Additionally, Bridget was a dedicated and fervent teacher. She began her teaching career in Waco, TX. She then moved back home to Tulsa and taught at Immaculate Conception, Marquette and Mark Twain, Garfield Elementary in Sand Springs, and lastly at Glenn C. Moore Elementary in Nowata. Her life was a living example of one of her favorite bible verses, Ephesians 4:32– “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.” Bridget was preceded in death by her Father Tom Ziegler, Grandparents, Frank and Julie Ziegler and Grandparents Frank and Virginia Wilson as well as her Father In-Law, Jim Taylor. She is survived by her Husband Don, Daughters, Hannah and Ashleigh Taylor of the home. Mom, Cindy Ziegler of Tulsa, Sisters Jeanne Long of Tulsa and Sarah Pennington (David) of Kiefer. Nieces, Elizabeth Long, Megan Dayton, Taylor Beck and Haley Beck. She is also survived by Amber Haymaker (Brad) of Coffeyville, Ks. whom we are blessed to consider as an extra daughter.
