Dorothy Ann Lewis

Graveside service for Dorothy Lewis will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 17, 2022 at Woodlawn Cemetery.  Dorothy passed away on June 13, 2022.  She was 89.

Dorothy Ann Lewis was born August 12, 1932 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Bernard and Billie (Burrows) Farley. She was reared and educated in Claremore and was a graduate from Claremore High School.  On April 4, 1952 Dorothy married Glynn Pat Lewis and the couple made their home in Claremore.

In the early 1970's Glynn and Dorothy began a career in home building. They made a very successful team, building many homes in the Claremore area.

Family was most important to Dorothy. She was the one who took care of all family dinners, holidays, and celebrations. Dorothy loved spending time at the lake water skiing or fishing.  She and Glynn wintered on South Padre Island every winter. Later in life, Dorothy loved feeding the birds and spending time with her cats.

Dorothy is survived by her children Cindy Walker and husband Pete and Jeff Lewis and wife Kelly; grandchildren Tiffany and Bethany.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Glynn, and her siblings Robert Farley and Virginia Farley.
