Joshua David Greenwood

July 29, 1985 - February 12, 2022

Memorial service for Joshua David Greenwood will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel.  Joshua passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022.  He was 36. Born July 29, 1985 in Borger, Texas to Randy Greenwood and Tandi Wheless, Joshua attended schools in Borger until the age of 9, then moved with his family to Claremore where he attended Claremore schools, but graduated High School in Sand Springs.  Following his graduation in 2003, Joshua went to work in the food service industry.  He enjoyed cooking for the places he worked for and loved cooking outside of work also.  When he wasn't working, Joshua loved to play video games and chat with his online friends. He also loved watching movies.  He also took great care of his dogs, Monkey and Graceland.  He was also a talented artist, drawing military sketches.  His ability as a handy man was another skill he possessed and helped his family when needed. No matter his circumstances he always had a big smile. He loved his family with all his big heart. He was always willing to help a friend in need. He will be greatly missed.  Those family members that survive include his mother Tandi Wheless; his daughter Breanna Murchison; his brothers Michael Ramsey and Brian Ramsey; his grandmother's Dottie Wheless and Frankie Greenwood.  Joshua was preceded in death by his father Randy Greenwood, his maternal grandfather Sonny Wheless, his paternal grandfather Don Greenwood; his great grandparents Starley and Wanda Jinks.
