Then her family moved to Claremore, where she finished school at Sequoyah, graduating with the class of 1963. On June 2, 1962, Linda married Jerry Donald Reed and together they raised their 3 children.

Linda's first priority in life was taking care of her family. She also worked at Sequoyah Public School as a secretary. Later she became co-owner of the Peachtree Antiquary in Claremore. Linda enjoyed searching for treasures she could resale in her shop. This meant many trips to estate sales which she also enjoyed. She and Jerry liked to travel and saw many different places, Oregon, Florida, New Mexico, and Colorado to name a few. Linda loved her family and spent time with them as often as she could. She especially loved being with her grandchildren.

Those family members that survive include her husband Jerry Reed of their home, Stacy Sutton and husband John of Pryor, Scott Reed and wife Shelley of Vinita and Stephanie Milburn and husband Michael of McKinney, Texas; her grandchildren Traci Weaver and husband Tracy, Mallorie Muehle and husband Jessie, Ryan Lemmings and wife Maranda, Bethanie Wishard and husband Billy, Nathan Reed and wife Molly, Gunner Reed and wife Dana, Hallie Reed, Reed Hadley and wife Katelyn, Riley Hadley and Ean Milburn, her siblings Sam Johnson and wife Shirley, Mearlene Elliott and Louise Peters. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Robert Johnson and J. D. Johnson.
