Phillis Jean Wells

Phillis Jean Wells passed away on October 15th, 2020, she was 74 years old. Phillis was born to Johnson and Lucille Vann on August 9th, 1946 in Vian, Ok Phillis and her family moved to Claremore, Ok in 1951 she attended Claremore Schools and enjoyed going to Emmanuel Baptist Church as a kid with her family.
Phillis enjoyed a lot of things in her life. She loved sewing, reading playing with her dogs, spending time with her grand-kids and great grand-kids. Phillis was very devoted to her family she always loved to cook big meals around the holidays where everyone could get together and spend time with one another.
One of her highest accomplishments was earning her Nursing Degree from Rogers State University. She worked at the Claremore Indian Hospital and later worked and retired from Claremore Regional Hospital She loved her job and had over 30 years as a nurse.
Phillis is preceded in death by her parents, Johnson and Lucille Vann and brothers Keener Vann, Johnny Lee Vann.
She is survived by her husband James Wells; Brother Gerald Vann, Sons; James Wells and wife Stephanie, Phillip Gene Hull; Daughters Lorie Hull and Kristin Brown and husband Chris Brown. And numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren and other extended family members.
