Service for Roy Lynn Roberts will be 10:00 a.m, Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel, burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Talala. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday, October 26, 2020 from 1pm-8pm.
Roy passed away at his home on Friday, October 23rd, 2020, at the age of 77.
The son of Charley H. and Lucy Grass Roberts was born February 8th, 1943. As a young boy he was raised in the Oologah area. It was there that he would first meet Joyce Reale. They would marry on October 14, 1963. The evening of their marriage Roy and Joyce left for Fresno, California, where they would spend the next 9 years. When they moved back to Oklahoma they settled in the Foyil area. Roy then began working as a carpenter for many years until his retirement.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charley and Lucy; wife, Joyce Roberts, and siblings, Billie, Mary, John, Patsy, Jessie and Dorthy.
Those family members that survive include his; sons Matt Roberts and wife Sonda, and Jim Roberts and wife Nickie; grandchildren Emily Roberts, Garrett Roberts, R.J. Roberts, and Jaylin Roberts and siblings, Curtis, Paul, Dale, and Warren.
