William Boyd Norfleet

Memorial service for William B. Norfleet will be held at 10AM on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at MMS Payne Funeral Home.  He was 86.  Bill was born July 14, 1935 in Claremore, OK to William Louis and Zelma Jesse Norfleet. He graduated from Claremore High School in 1953.  Bill was in the National Guard, stationed in Oklahoma, during the Korean War.  Bill worked for OTASCO for twenty years, completing his time with the company in Meridian Mississippi.  Once retired, he returned to Claremore and opened a convenience store in Verdigris called Bill’s Mini Mart.  Once retired, he moved to Grand Lake, ultimately returning to Claremore.  A place he called Heaven.  He also had the most infectious laugh.  Bill was predeceased by his daughter JoLynn Kinzer, born on July 28, 1958.  He was survived by his son Matthew Norfleet, his wife Allyson, and grandson Alistair from New Jersey.
