Alicia Kaye Fox

Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 10a at Woodlawn Cemetery, Claremore, OK with Reverend Sam Nichols and Reverend Paul Simpson officiating.

Alicia Kaye Tarter Fox, 69, returned to her heavenly home on June 22, 2025 where she was greeted by her Lord and Savior, her parents, and sister. She was born on her Daddy’s birthday, November 19, 1955 to Jack and Lorene Tarter. After graduating from Stroud High School in 1974, Alicia attended Oklahoma State University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Executive Secretarial Administration. While at Oklahoma State University Alicia met her future husband, Tim Fox. They were married June 16, 1978 at First Baptist Church in Stroud, Oklahoma. They made their home in Tulsa until 1992 when they moved to Claremore. Alicia and Tim were blessed by the birth of two daughters, Allison Shayne in 1982 and Stephanie Kaye in 1986. She enjoyed her life as a homemaker, always invested in her children and their activities, and creating a home where everyone was always welcome.

Alicia came to know the Lord at a young age and served Him faithfully throughout her life. At the age of 12 she became the church organist for First Baptist Church Stroud. She was often checked out of school to provide music for funerals. She served in this capacity until she graduated from high school and left for college. She was a faithful member of Claremore First Baptist for over 25 years where she served in many different ministries. She was a humble servant, prayer warrior, and great encourager in the faith to many.

Alicia was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Lorene Tarter, and sister, Alanna Tarter. She is survived by her husband, Tim, daughters Allison Fox and Stephanie Robertson, son-in-law Micah Robertson, and grandson Jack Robertson. She is also survived by countless church family and friends.
