Allen Ray Owen

Allen Ray Owen passed away on October 27, 2025, at the age of 63. He was born on February 13, 1962, in Claremore, Oklahoma, to Ray Alfonzo Barnes and Helen Kay Owen.

Allen attended Claremore High School, graduating with the Class of 1980. After high school, he worked for many years as a dispatcher in Pryor and Inola. Throughout his life, Allen enjoyed the outdoors — spending time hunting and fishing — and he also loved playing video games. He had a passion for collecting swords and guns and was known for his kind, gentle, and fun-loving personality.

He is preceded in death by his adopted father, Will Owen; grandmother, Ruth Howard Bowman; and sister, Kelly Lynn Hall.

Allen is survived by his mother, Helen Owen; aunt, Phyllis Spurlock; and nieces and nephews, Joshua Heckman, Anna Allen, Samantha Heckman, and Hannah Hall.

Allen will be remembered for his generous spirit, warm heart, and the joy he brought to those who knew him.
