Anna Louise Bacon

Anna McCormick Bacon passed away from this earthly world on August 16th, 2023 at the age of 90. She was born on January 28th, 1933 in Dayton, Ohio, to Gerald and Mary “Mamie” McCormick. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and her oldest son. 

During her early years her family moved from Dayton, Ohio to Verdigris, Oklahoma where she met the love of her life Charles “Buck” Bacon. They were then married welcomed three boys Gerald “Jerry”, Gary, Terry Joe. Then they moved back to Ohio and welcomed their daughter Tema. 

She started her career as a nurse, and also a bus driver in Ohio and in Tulsa for the Margot Hudson Program until her retirement. She enjoyed bowling in her younger days, spending time with her family and friends. One the things she was most proud of was her grandchildren and how strong her family is. 

Anna is preceded by her husband Charles Bacon. She was survived by three of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
