Service for Barbara Robbins will be at 10:00a.m., Friday, May 29, 2026, at House of Prayer Church. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 1pm-7pm, Thursday, May 28.
Barbara Ann Robbins was born July 12, 1940, in Sand Springs Oklahoma to Owen & Audrey Alexander. Though she lived in several states growing up, Foyil was always home in her heart. Barbara peacefully went Home to Jesus on May 26, 2026, while resting at home with family by her side.
She graduated from Chelsea High School in 1959 and treasured the lifelong friendships she made along the way, especially with Joyce Prather & Wilma Hefner. She was a devoted wife for 49 years, a loving mother to four boys, and spent her life caring for others with quiet strength and kindness.
Barbara worked for many years at Pacesetter Luggage and later at Hydro-Hoist Lifts in Claremore, but her greatest joy was her family. No matter how tired she was, Barbara never missed an opportunity to cheer on her boys at their games and activities. She believed deeply in simply being present for the people she loved.
Those family members that survive include her sons: JR & wife Jodi, of West Columbia TX, Michael & wife Paige of Fate, TX, son Larry (favorite-by-default) of Foyil & Terry & wife Kristin of Aledo, TX. She also leaves behind her sister Glenda Dale & husband Don, sister-in-law Rosetta Sperry, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Barbara was preceded in death by husband Jim Robbins, parents Owen & Audrey Alexander and sister Joyce Sanders.
Barbara loved the Lord with all her heart. Her faith guided her life, and she found great joy in church, worship music and seeing young people grow closer to God. She will be remembered for her loving heart, steady faith, and the way she made people feel cared for and deeply loved.
