Beverly Joan Mitchell

Celebration of life services for Beverly Joan Mitchell will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 2:00pm at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel.

Beverly J. Mitchell of Claremore, wife of Dr. Joseph E. Mitchell passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Sunday, August 13, 2023.

For 33 years she assisted her husband in his Chiropractic office. For her entire life she served as the best, most loving Mother, stepmother, sister, aunt and Grandy.

Beverly loved to travel and she traveled the world. She loved the ocean and the beach. Her greatest joy came from entertaining. She loved to plan and participate in family functions and parties. Her favorite holiday was, by far, Christmas. 

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Willis Bradshaw and Gertrude Wright; grandson, Richard Mullenax; grandson, Jake Knight; daughter, Monica Mullenax and son Mark Mullenax. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Dr. Joseph Mitchell; her children, Marsha (Randy); Mindy Franchell (Jim), Mike Mullenax (Stacy), Mia Heinttz (Eric); stepchildren, Julie Gillis (Daniel), Janet jackson (Charles), Joyce Hurst (Gary) and Jeff Mitchell (Tonya). 

She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
