Bobby Jack Ballard

Bobby Jack Ballard passed away on April 10, 2025, at the age of 71.

He was born on May 21, 1953, in Drumright, Oklahoma, to Bobbie Junior Ballard and Betty Nadine Ballard. Jack grew up in Tulsa and graduated from Will Rogers High School with the Class of 1971. Following high school, he attended Okmulgee Tech, where he studied automotive mechanics. Though trained in mechanics, Jack spent most of his working years as a dedicated industrial painter.

On August 3, 1980, Jack married Cheryl Noah, and together they shared many wonderful years and built a loving family.

Jack had a strong work ethic and was known as a workaholic, always making sure his family was taken care of. Despite his hard work, he made time for the things he loved—watching Westerns and WWE, taking trips to the casino, and enjoying a good session on the slot machines. He was known for his favorite sayings: “It’s only money,” and the laid-back reply “I suppose” to just about anything.

More than anything, Jack will be remembered for his generous heart. He was the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Cheryl Ballard; his parents, Bobbie Junior and Betty Nadine Ballard; and his sister, Janet Holman.

Jack is survived by his children Tracey Ballard and wife Tialeesa, Dustin Ballard, Heather Driskill and husband Anthoney, Tennille Gregory and husband Allen; Grandchildren Kenny Ballard, SheaLynne Hueston and husband Joe, Jack Six, Austin Driskill and wife Alicia, Cheyanne Driskill, Nathaniel Driskill, Zayden Gregory; Great-grandchildren, Syndia Hueston, Gatlin Morton along with many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Jack will be remembered for his humor, generosity, and the love he showed to everyone around him. He will be deeply missed.
