Sep 15, 1944 — Sep 20, 2026

A memorial service to honor the life of Sue Williams will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 28, 2026, at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel. Sue departed this life on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at the age of 82.

Born on September 15, 1944, in Claremore, Oklahoma to Arthur "Bud" Henry and Ethel Faye (Henson) Eagleton, Sue made Claremore her lifelong home. It was here that she met and married the love of her life, Freddie David "Corky" Williams, on October 3, 1959, creating a shared journey that would span decades.

Sue's devotion as a wife and mother was unparalleled. She nurtured her daughters with care, only seeking work outside the home once they reached high school. For a decade, she was a familiar and friendly presence at Young World, a children's clothing store in Claremore, where she made lasting friendships.

Sue and Corky delighted in travel, frequently visiting their beloved destinations in Colorado and Las Vegas. Her unwavering support of her grandchildren was evident, as she never missed an opportunity to attend their games and special events. Sue cherished her family deeply and relished every moment spent with them. A passionate fan of Elvis, she curated a special room in her home, filled with treasured memorabilia.

Her legacy of love and joy is carried on by her daughters: Debra Sue Greggs and husband Chris, Dayna Lynn Cunningham and husband Shane, and Lisa Marie Wilson and husband Greg. Her grandchildren: Bradley Ray Talbert, Kylie Danielle James and husband Dylan, Chase Dalton Talbert and wife Gracie, Michael Shane Cunningham, Taylor Brandt Cunningham, Stevie Lynn Cunningham and fiance Dylan Shook, Jessica Nicole Warden, Katie-Lee Brooke Rodger and husband Tony, and Freddie Gregory Wilson; and her great-grandchildren: Emmitt Brooks Talbert, Tatum Rae James, Nathan David James, Charlie Mae Talbert, Taylor Ann Talbert, Cora Marie Rodger, and Caden Blake Rodger. Sue is also survived by her sister, Judy Fivecoates, alongside many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Sue was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Bud and Faye Eagleton, her cherished husband Corky, and her brothers, Don Eagleton and Bill Eagleton.

Sue's warmth and spirit will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate to know her.
