Catherine Nicole East

Service for Catherine Nicole East {aka Colie} will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Cedar Point Church. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday, October 12, from 1pm-8pm, with family receiving visitors from 5pm-8pm. Nicole passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2020. She was 39.

Born November 4, 1980 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Bruce Mathis and Terrye (Morgan) Moreland, Nicole attended schools at Foyil schools and the votech, studying cosmetology. She worked for several different salons, Super Cuts, The Hair Place, and her current employer Pro Cuts. She also received her CNA license and worked for area home health and nursing homes.

Nicole was devoted to her family and they came first. She loved spending time with her son Koby and her niece and nephew. Her home was kept spotless and she enjoyed crafts and working in her flower garden. One of her most treasured memories was the trip to the beach with her son and taking Koby parasailing. Nicole's laughter could light up a room and she was quite the prankster and loved to pull one over on you.

Those family members that survive include her husband Jimmy of their home; her son Koby West; her mother Terrye (Morgan) Moreland; father Bruce and Sandy {stepmother}Mathis, her grandmother Loeta "Mema" Morgan; her brothers Eric Daniel Mathis and wife Mandi, Dustin Davis and Meghan, and Michael Davis; nieces and nephews Hunter and Calena Mathis, Erica Mathis, Payton Davis, and Brody Davis. Nicole was preceded in death by brother: Jason McNerney; grandparents Gene "Papa" Morgan, Marcella "Grandma Marsh Mellow" Mathis and Cecil Mathis.
