Celeste Lynne Lubben

Celeste Lynne Lubben, 67, died Friday, March 27, in Claremore, Okla. Celeste loved crafts, painting, flowers, gardening, sewing, and her dogs. She sewed baby quilts and table runners. She made seasonal wreaths for the front door and over the mantle. She made mini bouquets in charming teacups. Her most recent project was making crystal and bead angels as necklaces and tree ornaments. She won several prizes at the Rogers County Fair.

She spent most of her life in Johnson County, Kansas. She moved to Rogers County, Oklahoma in 2022 to be closer to sisters Faith Wylie and Dawn Kester after their mother, Grace Lubben, died. She is survived by brother Mark Lubben and his children and grandchildren, sister Faith Wylie, nephew James Wylie and wife Alison, niece Brianna Godwin and her son Ethan and wife Taylor Williams, nephews Justin Williams and Roy Williams.
